🌈 use your quarantine time wisely ...⁣

And before you throw stuff virtually at me, I’m not about to tell you to write a novel (unless u wonna) 📚...⁣
⁣
There’s a lot of stuff going around saying make this time at home 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘦𝘳 𝘥𝘶𝘱𝘦𝘳 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘰𝘳 𝘦𝘭𝘴𝘦 𝘺𝘢 𝘢 𝘣𝘪𝘨 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘭𝘶𝘳𝘦 and yeh we should be using our time wisely BUT that doesn’t mean working to the bone...⁣
⁣
I’m also not saying spend the next month or how ever long binging Netflix and stuffing as many quarantine snacks down ya throat (unless ya want to)⁣
⁣
but we all should be using this time wisely and by that I mean tuning into yourself and figuring out what you 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞⁣
⁣
And this could change as the days (or weeks) go by...⁣
⁣
But listen to what you need and if that’s rest then do it, if that is starting a new project do it, if that’s lounging in a bubble bath reading little women do it, if it’s singing n dancing or creating art or FaceTiming friends or watching a movie DO IT⁣
⁣
The only outcome i ask you to have by the end of this time in quarantine is that you’ve learned what you needed and you did it without feeling the societal pressure to do a certain thing 👽 ⁣

don’t feel guilty for listening to your needs and acting on them 🦋

Life has been crazy recently and Corona has made this maybe 10000 times more?! I feel like the chaos of the world has decided to live rent-free in my mind ...⁣⁣
⁣⁣
But I want to take a second to check in and hopefully 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐚 𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐢𝐩𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 & 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
People are struggling with mental and physical health, with the stress of plans changing, the unknown, lack of resources, loss of jobs and income - basically it’s a big old shit show.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
And on top of this, half of the population has lost track of their humanity. They’re taking what they can get and forgetting about everyone else.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
I just thought that maybe, we could come together as a community to offer support and advice for people who are feeling lost or stuck...⁣⁣
⁣⁣
So I’ll get us started with three things that could help keep you sane during this quarantine and I’d love if you could all share your suggestions and support in the comments to help make this social distancing feel less alone 👫👫👫⁣⁣
⁣⁣
1️⃣ 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐟𝐟 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲: I know it’s super tempting to sit scrolling on insta or binging Netflix but for the sake of your sanity take time away from technology and read a book, play a board game, paint, create, sing. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
2️⃣ 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟-𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞: we might all have to be social distancing or what ever tf it’s called but try not to become lonely. FaceTime friends and family make sure you’re staying socially connected to those that lift you up. And if you do feel lost as to who to talk to, I’m here and willing to listen, support and love who ever needs it⁣⁣
⁣⁣
3️⃣ 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐚 𝐝𝐚𝐦𝐧 𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲: boogie, do yoga, jump on the damn spot but get that heart rate up and that bootie moving. If possible get out into your garden so you can breath in that sweet air, and if not try going to a park but wash ya damn hands n keep ur distance. Movement and fresh air will do a world of good.⁣ ⁣ ⁣

let that person shine through into every reality cause you’re gonna attract people who get you, the real you and that’s damn magical ✨

have you ever stopped to think about this...⁣

that every single person perceives every single situation differently 🧐⁣
⁣
That might seem like an exaggeration but really really think about it...⁣
⁣
I’m not saying it’s radically different but it is different ⁣
⁣
Because people see the world through their own unique and personal lens based on their past, what they’ve been taught and how they expect situations to go...⁣
⁣
In one interaction someone could think it went amazingly whereas the other thinks it was the worst thing ever... and they’re both taking about the same damn experience⁣
⁣
So the moral of the story...⁣
⁣
If someone is rude to you, if someone talks badly about someone or something, if someone judges you...⁣
⁣
Remember that they’re only seeing it through their lens and there are billions of other ‘truths’ out there⁣
⁣
So be open to learning new things, be curious about how others view situations 𝐛𝐮𝐭!!!!⁣
⁣
𝐃𝐎𝐍’𝐓 let the opinions of others stop you from 𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵⁣

Because that’s their truth and it’s not yours.⁣
⁣

you kinda thought life would be exciting but now you’re not so sure. ⁣

but once you’ve saved up enough or been working at a place for long enough or you’ve retired THEN you’ll have the time to do what you love⁣

Don’t wait to do the things that set your soul on fire 🔥 ⁣

what’s one thing you love to do but never make time for? ⁣
⁣
Make time for it this week.

Nothing will change if you stay the same 👽 it’s time to l e v e l up & create the reality you dream of 🦋

💘 Valentine’s Day may be over but that doesn’t mean the loves gotta stop 💘⁣

I mean really Valentine’s Day is just a made up day to get us all to spent 💰 on stuff, reallyyy we should be striving to show our love every day.⁣
⁣
and that’s not just love to other people.⁣
⁣
You deserve your own love, you deserve to be worshipped and adored by your self. ⁣
⁣
Because no one is gonna be able to love you as well as you can love yourself...⁣
⁣
Write yourself a love letter, detailing all of the amazing things you love about yourself.⁣
⁣

I love your hair, especially after a shower 😍 and ur butt cause it looks fine af 🍑. I also love how kind and compassionate you are and how hard you work each day to better yourself. I love that you’re so passionate about helping others and I love that ya kinda funny and a really good cook 🤤. I love your legs and heart and arms and fingers and face and ears and nose. I love your body outside and inside because it’s doing a damn good job at keeping you alive. I love how you’re so emotional and feel things on such a deep level. ⁣

then schedule some time into your week to do them! ⁣

And you may be like “but I don’t have time” ⁣
⁣
Well, if we’re being 100% honest, that’s an excuse...⁣
⁣
You can make time. ⁣
⁣
You have to choose happiness⁣
⁣
Actually nahhh you 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘵𝘰 choose happiness ⁣
⁣
You get to choose to fill at least part of each day with activities that set your soul on fire⁣
⁣
so are you gonna choose to create a happier life or stay stuck where you’re at? It’s up to you...⁣
